Your Donation to this Friends of the Charles Paddock Zoo Program will enable a child from a low income family to attend a session of Summer Camp at the Charles Paddock Zoo. Summer Camp is one of the best attended educational programs at the Charles Paddock Zoo. Each week, kids have an opportunity to meet animals, learn about all things zoo and make new friends all while having fun. You can help families in need by providing the opportunity for a child to attend camp.
We’ve partnered with Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County (CAPSLO), a local social services institution that assists families in need. CAPSLO will select the children who are eligible to receive your sponsorship. This partnership will guarantee that the recipient is from a low-income family and without the sponsorship, wouldn’t be able to attend.
As a sponsor, you’ll receive: your name added to our Friends & Sponsors list on our website (www.charlespaddockzoo.com); social media shout-outs on Facebook and your name will also be included in any press coverage of camp and the sponsorship program (where applicable). *As we are a 501(c)3 non-profit all donations to Friends of the Charles Paddock Zoo are fully tax deductible.
